Alon Livné Bridal showcase at New York Bridal Fashion Week featuring couture wedding dresses, veils and modern bridal silhouettes.

An intimate glimpse into the bridal world of Alon Livné during NYBFW

During New York Bridal Fashion Week, we were invited to an intimate showcase by Alon Livné.

This series explores the balance between structure and fluidity — sculptural silhouettes, delicate textures, and the quiet strength of each look. Shot in a soft and minimal setting, the images focus on the garments themselves, allowing volume, craftsmanship, and movement to stand out naturally.

Rather than a traditional backstage or runway coverage, the approach was intentionally editorial — creating a subtle dialogue between the model, the space, and the designer’s vision.

ABOUT the Author

I’m Gregory Batardon
Former dancer
Dance photographer

I was born in Geneva in 1971 and studied visual arts at the Collège de Genève while pursuing intensive dance training at the École de Danse de Genève.

In 2010, I stepped away from the stage to dedicate myself to dance photography.
Today, I work with leading ballet companies, contemporary dance institutions, junior companies, and schools, as well as on personal studio projects. I also photograph dancers for professional portfolios, where I draw on my experience as a dancer to guide them beyond the pose and bring out their best.
